Alley Cat is actually a dog. She is a 7 year old female Dalmatian who developed a cancer called Fibrosarcoma. This locally aggressive cancer affected Alley Cat's mammary glands and after surgical removal of the tumor she is receiving chemotherapy to keep the cancer at bay. Alley Cat has played on her owner's front lawn since she's been a baby puppy and ACTSS hopes that she'll continue to do so for a lot longer.
