In the spring of 2003, Mister, a three year old Shih Tzu was diagnosed with cancer of the gum (Epulis). Mister required surgery to remove part of his jaw to permanently destroy the cancer. In the summer of 2003 Mister was granted funding from ACTSS and the surgery was performed. Mister is expected to make a complete recovery and remain cancer free.
